We carry out executive search for clients ranging from small private equity backed companies to the largest corporations in the world. We exclusively work on roles of critical importance to our clients. Typically, such roles include Chair, independent board directors, CEOs and heads of a function that report to a CEO, however any role that is mission critical for our clients would be undertaken. We advise public companies and, occasionally, charitable organisations.
Clients are based in the US and across Europe. A considerable number of our searches are North American in focus, many are pan-European and the rest, global. We are experts at advising on the challenges of international relocations.
For existing clients, we carry out market mapping projects to determine if an executive search is worthwhile. Our advice is impartial and expert.

Simon qualified as a research chemist. He was sponsored by Astra-Zeneca through his doctorate at Cambridge University and worked with them for a period before becoming a strategy consultant at Bain & Co. Thereafter he was a Partner at a series of executive search firms, including some of the world’s largest, before setting up Bartholomew Advisors. He has over 30 years of experience in high level executive search with an exemplary record for placing CEO, Board Director and other senior executive level candidates into key roles.
Samantha has over twenty years of executive search experience leading research organisations for boutique and global firms. She began her research career at two global law firms in Chicago, and then transitioned to a Senior Regional role at LexisNexis before entering executive search, where she held positions at the Officer level. She focuses on identifying senior and C-suite talent in the Life Sciences, with an emphasis in Biotechnology. She has successfully recruited top-level scientific and leadership talent at the Vice President through C-Suite levels in North America and Europe.
Wendy has been working in the executive search business for over 30 years and has considerable international senior level PA/project management experience gained from two of the large global search firms as well as several smaller boutique companies. Having worked in Switzerland, Australia and the UK, Wendy also speaks fluent French.
Bartholomew Advisors regularly holds CEO & Chair dinners for up to 60 guests, usually at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in London. Recent keynote speakers have included: Guido Oelkers CEO of SOBI, Justin Gover CEO of GW Pharma etc.
